Shirehall was the headquarters of Shropshire Council until 2023, originally designed by Ralph Crowe the County Architect and opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1967.  In 2025 it was announced that the complex of buildings may be demolished to make way for different developments.
A multi-year project to create a photographic portrait of the Shirehall using multiple photographic methods results in a still-growing collection of images, some included in the gallery below, featuring the building's exteriors, interiors and even aerial perspectives of this modernist jewel in Shropshire's architectural collection.
